“Dark Cotton” in Castle Rock Film Fest

It’s official!  We were notified recently that DARK COTTON was officially selected to screen at the 2010 Castle Rock Film Festival (CRFF) in Castle Rock, CO, October 1-3.  Check out their website for more details.  I’m very excited to share this news as well as a huge congratulations to our amazing cast and crew!

DARK COTTON is scheduled to screen during the daytime on Saturday, October 2 (the specific time is not available, as of publishing this post).

CRFF requested a :30 sec trailer for their “Trailer Park Meet-N-Greet” party, so their request was a nice excuse to celebrate further by creating a second trailer for you to enjoy.  i

When Ian and I originally decided to move forward with making his short story “The Sleeping Bag” into a short film that eventually became Dark Cotton, we knew that upon completing it that we wanted to pursue submitting to film festivals.  And now, just a few months into 2010, we’ve completed our initial phase of film festival submissions.
