“Dark Cotton” – update to 2010 film festivals

When Ian and I originally decided to move forward with making his short story “The Sleeping Bag” into a short film that eventually became Dark Cotton, we knew that upon completing it that we wanted to pursue submitting to film festivals.  And now, just a few months into 2010, we’ve completed our initial phase of film festival submissions. 2010 + a reflection on 2009

I’m amazed at how quickly January and February flew by.  It’s almost March and so far this year has been very productive on multiple levels – through new projects as well as through new business relationships.

Our website gets new look, functionality

If you’ve visited our site in the past, you’ve probably noticed that the site looks and feels quite different than it did before. Over the past six months I’ve been trying to find the right layout and look for our website.  So, after many revisions/redesigns, I’ve updated our website with a cleaner look with better, clearer functionality. Over the next few weeks you may notice minor tweaks and changes here and there, as well as more content filling in minor gaps. This includes a section dedicated to current projects that I’m working on as well as more blog posts about recently completed projects and some that are on the horizon.

When it comes to the thought process for choosing this theme design and why it took a good chunk of time to find it, there’s quite a story and sequence of events that resulted in this final decision, which is sort of a “third times the charm” type scenario. For now, I’ve leave you in anticipation for the story behind the decision which will continue in another blog post soon. If you have some thoughts you’d like to share on the new look to the site, feel free to leave your comments below. Thanks!
