“Dark Cotton” in Castle Rock Film Fest

It’s official!  We were notified recently that DARK COTTON was officially selected to screen at the 2010 Castle Rock Film Festival (CRFF) in Castle Rock, CO, October 1-3.  Check out their website for more details.  I’m very excited to share this news as well as a huge congratulations to our amazing cast and crew!

DARK COTTON is scheduled to screen during the daytime on Saturday, October 2 (the specific time is not available, as of publishing this post).

CRFF requested a :30 sec trailer for their “Trailer Park Meet-N-Greet” party, so their request was a nice excuse to celebrate further by creating a second trailer for you to enjoy.  i

“Dark Cotton” update, more still frames

October has been one of the busiest months for me in the past year, which is an excellent thing; I’m certainly not one to complain!  It’s been a fantastic month, but I didn’t make enough time to post an update about Dark Cotton, plus more still frames from our second and third shoot days!  Thanks for your patience and I hope you find the still frames well worth the wait.

“Dark Cotton” shoot day #1 – still frames

On Saturday, August 1, we had our first shoot day (of three) for the production of our next short film Dark Cotton.  The day was fantastic, though we had a late start and a couple unexpected coordination snaffu’s – the big one being our production coordinator getting a nail in one of her car’s tires while running to the local hardware store to get a couple high-powered spotlight torches.  Outside of the obvious, how/why do you think we used them?
